Ion Exchange Resin
TRILITE is one of the global leading brand in ion exchange resins industry. TRILITE was the result of an technological alliance between Samyang Corp. of Korea and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation of Japan.
TRILITE is renowned in the industry for its uniform particle size (UPS) resins with uniformity coefficient under 1.1, which is directly related its high performance.
In general, strongly acidic cation exchange resins are used in the water softening, and purified salts are used as regenerant. When the hardness component is highly concentrated in raw water, it is treated with weakly acidic cation resins.
TRILITE MC-08 strong acidic cation resins and MA-12 strong basic anion resins is UPS type resin that are suitable for cation and anion removal in demineralization application.
Weak base anion resins AW90 can be implemented into the system when the inlet water has high bio contaminants that causes biofouling.
Ultrapure Water(UPW) Polisher
TRILITE UPW resins is able to polish ultrapure water to 18.2 MΩ water resistivity, up to the requirement of electronics and semiconductor industry.
TRILITE UPW resins are supplied to reputable ultrapure water systems from LCD (Samsung Display, LG Display, etc.) to semiconductor (Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, etc.) and contributing to competitive edge of customers with stable quality control and on-time delivery.
Silica and other ions cause turbine blade deposits and pitting, hence it is crucial to remove these ions from the condensate.
TRILITE resin features outstanding mechanical and chemical stability, make it excellent to used for the condensate polisher which need to restrain high temperature.
Chlor-Alkali Brine Purification
In the Chlor-alkali process that electrolyzes salt (NaCl) to produce caustic soda and chlorine, the hardness components (Ca, Mg) in the concentrated saltwater should be removed to protect ion exchange membrane electrolysis cell and the process stability.
TRILITE CLR-08, CLR-09 can selectively remove hardness components efficiently in the presence of a high concentration of Na ions.
Acid Purification in Electroplating
Acid purification process is based on the principle of acid retardation using anion chromatography resins. The resins separate the electrolyzed metal salt from the acid so that the acid can be recovered for further reuse.
In general, the acid recovery rate can be as high as 70 to 95% and possible to remove 50 to 90% of metal components.
